The House On Dry Creek Road
I lived in a house on Dry Creek Road located just outside of
Morehead, Kentucky until I was five years old. I am now twenty.
My Family, Friends and I had some strange encounters there.
Every night when my sister would go to bed something would tug
at her pillow trying to take it away.
We owned a store that was connected to our house. In the back of
the store there was a set of stairs which led up to the second
level. We were always hearing strange footsteps and noises from
there.
One night after the store had closed we heard footsteps and
thumping noises comming from the stairway. My dad went to check
it out thinking it was robber but didn't find anything.
A friend came over to play one day and we heard footsteps comming
down the stairs. We were so scared because nobody was up there.
Another friend swears that he saw two ghostly figures arguing thrue
the upstairs window as he was walking past the house one night.
Come to find out, someone was supposedly murdered upstairs.
UPDATE by the webmaster:
This house is no longer standing. It has been bulldozed down for a few years now and it's former location is mearly a pull-off beside of the highway.
